Whitecraigs Rugby Club International Tickets 2008/09

July 2008

Dear Member

I attach application forms for next season's Autumn Tests and Six Nations home matches.

Details for the away matches in the 6 Nations have not yet been issued by the SRU

. The SRU have explained their basis for allocating 6 Nations tickets to clubs as follows :-

"The ticket allocation process follows the process established in 2006 viz

• In 2009, clubs are entitled to purchase up to 3 Ireland tickets and 3 Wales tickets for every 1 Italy ticket purchased.

• In 2010, clubs will be entitled to purchase England and France tickets up to an amount equal to the average purchases of Ireland and Wales tickets. For example, a club purchasing 30 Ireland and 20 Wales tickets in 2009 will be entitled to purchase 25 England and 25 France tickets in 2010.

• England and France 2010 ticket categories will reflect as far as possible the ticket categories purchased for Ireland and Wales.

• This is a “green-field” approach with no linkage to 2007 or 2008 Six Nations ticket sales." If, as a result of a low level of applications for the Italy game, we don't receive a large enough allocation for the Ireland or Wales games, priority will be given to members who buy Italy tickets, and then by ballot. Similarly, next year, priority will be given to members applying for England and France tickets who have purchased Ireland and Wales tickets.

Members applying for tickets MUST return the forms along with cheques, and stamped addressed envelopes by the following dates :

- Autumn Tests Monday, 15th September
- Six Nations 2009 Friday, 17th October

Forms CAN ONLY be returned to me at the following address (don't leave applications at the Club) :-
