WHITECRAIGS 45 - 6 HELENSBURGH

There are many things that could be said about the opening game of the season at West Lodge but the score says more than words can convey.

With a new scaffolding platform erected, which allows games to be videoed and the club kit arriving on time, everything was in place and the players certainly gave a performance.

Afterwards court saw the women of the club "sink" a few beers and wait for an announcement coming soon, that will have all the men rushing to take in the next home game.

Things are on track but we are still looking for players at U18 and at Senior level to join us, along with any coaches/players who feel they might want to enter the coaching ladder at a level they would enjoy and gain experience.

Next week sees us travel to Hawick YM and they will be looking for a home win following their defeat to Lenzie at the weekend. There will be a call to the fields to put down what you are doing and I am sure we will face a different team at home, we can hope for good weather and
that they remain in the fields, no matter what we will prepare and make some changes.

We invite as many as possible to travel with us and there has been talk of starting a "ladies" bus !
