Long-time Whitecraigs club member Paul Brown is taking on the challenge of the London Marathon this April to raise funds for the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation. His run is driven by a deeply personal motivation and a determination to help fund research into motor neuron disease (MND).
On his fundraising page, Paul shared that he began this journey to support a close friend who was battling the disease. Sadly, his friend recently lost that fight, giving Paul renewed strength to raise as much money as possible. Every mile he runs will be in his memory and in support of those still living with MND, with a goal of raising £100 for every mile of the marathon.
My Name’5 Doddie Foundation is committed to achieving a world free of MND, funding and enabling cutting-edge research to accelerate the search for a cure. Everyone at Whitecraigs wishes Paul the very best of luck and encourages the club community to support him on this incredible challenge.
