The 1xv travelled to newly promoted Kilmarnock in the Arnold Clark National League Division 4.

Whitecraigs on the back of two wins in the opening two matches of the season faced the challenge of Kilmarnock at home with one win and one loss.

Whitecraigs started the game confidently unsettling the home team in the early minutes. However Kilmarnock were up for the challenge defending the Whitecraigs attacks before taking the advantage on 13 mins scoring and converting, following up with four more of the same to end the first half 28-0.

Whitecraigs pulled together and battled on into the second half with positive phases of play. Chances created but denied. In a tough afternoon there were two well deserved tries for Whitecraigs on 72 mins and 80 mins to finish the match 59-12.

While at West Lodge the 2xv stormed to a 32-0 victory versus Marr 3xv…… that’s three out of three for the 2xv this season!
