The 1xv travelled north to face Moray in the penultimate game of 2025 in the Arnold Clark National League Division 4.

Whitecraigs scored two tries early in the game and converted to lead 0-14 inside 10 minutes. After the long journey the try bonus was secured by half time and the score 7-28 with Whitecraigs scoring four tries.

As the winter evening gloom closed in, Moray raised their game as they trailed 7-35 to score three consecutive tries to reduce the difference to 26-35. Whitecraigs were under pressure for 15 minutes and the lead slipping.

Whitecraigs regained some sustained possession and played the rugby they had been in the first half to see the game out strongly scoring two tries in the late minutes of the game to win, what was a battle, 26-47.

A valuable 5 point victory.
